Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Back-End Clerk within the Receiving Office to support returns and inventory workflows. You will process customer returns, coordinate RTV/RTM activities, and assist with receiving, labeling, and disposition of merchandise.

You will maintain accurate records, work with store teams on product flow, and help ensure safety and organization in backrooms and return areas. Prior retail returns experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience processing merchandise receiving paperwork.
• At least 1 year of experience with store inventory receiving and administration.
• 6 months of experience in warehouse data entry or bookkeeping.
• 6 months of experience communicating with vendors or customers regarding returns, payments, or contract fulfillment.
• 6 months of retail experience accepting or processing returns.

Responsibilities

• Process customer returns according to company policies.
• Execute RTV/RTM processes with documentation and shipping prep.
• Coordinate vendor credits and replacements as required.
• Sort and disposition returned merchandise based on condition and policy.
• Maintain records of all return transactions and related documentation.
• Assist with receiving shipments and verifying merchandise against shipping docs.
• Process receiving paperwork and update inventory systems.
• Ensure merchandise is labeled, stored, and routed correctly.
• Support inventory accuracy through routine checks and reporting discrepancies.
