Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Back-End Clerk to support the Receiving Office and return operations at our Ohio location. You will process customer returns, manage RTV/RTM tasks, and coordinate with store teams to ensure smooth product flow.

Responsibilities include accuracy in documentation, inventory updates, and assisting with receiving, labeling, and safe handling of items. Prior experience in returns or warehouse admin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic organizational and administrative skills.
• Experience with merchandise receiving paperwork is a plus.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Process customer returns per company policies.
• Execute RTV/RTM processes with documentation and packing.
• Coordinate vendor credits and replacements as required.
• Sort and disposition returned merchandise based on condition and policy.
• Maintain records of return transactions and documentation.
• Assist with receiving shipments and verify paperwork.
• Update inventory systems accurately.
• Label, store, and route merchandise to proper locations.
• Support inventory accuracy through routine checks.
• Generate reports on returns, damaged goods and inventory exceptions.
• Coordinate with receiving and store teams for product flow.
• Maintain backroom and return area organization.
• Follow safety procedures for handling, hazardous materials, and equipment.
• Identify and handle hazardous or restricted items accordingly.
• Provide basic support for customer return inquiries.
• Communicate with vendors/manufacturers to facilitate returns.
• Support Receiving Office with record retention and PO processing; other duties as assigned.
