Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience processing and filing merchandise receiving paperwork.
• 1 year of experience with store inventory receiving and administration.
• 6 months of experience in warehouse data entry/bookkeeping.
• 6 months of experience communicating with vendors or customers regarding returns, payments, or contract fulfillment.
• 6 months of retail experience accepting or processing returns.

Responsibilities

• Process customer returns per company policies.
• Execute RTV and RTM processes with documentation and shipment prep.
• Coordinate vendor credits and replacements per guidelines.
• Sort and disposition returned merchandise (restock, return, dispose).
• Maintain records of all return transactions and docs.
• Assist with receiving shipments and verify merchandise against docs.
• Process receiving paperwork and update inventory systems.
• Ensure merchandise labeling, storage, and routing to proper locations.
• Support inventory accuracy with routine checks and report discrepancies.
• Generate/ review reports on returns, damaged goods, and inventory exceptions.
• Coordinate with receiving/store teams for efficient product flow.
• Maintain organized backroom and return areas.
• Follow safety procedures for material handling and hazardous materials.
• Identify/ handle hazardous or restricted items per guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Provide basic support for customer return inquiries.
• Communicate with vendors/manufacturers to facilitate returns/credits/replacements.
