Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations seeks a Bachelors Level Clinician to join Clinical Support Services in Brockton. The role includes direct patient care, assessments, counseling, and discharge planning within a comprehensive treatment program.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field, strong communication, diagnostic and case-management skills, and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and submits licensure or certificates necessary for the position.
• Comply with Federal Regulations (42 CFR Part 2), Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA.
• Participate in Treatment Team Meetings.
• Maintain assigned caseload and provide direct patient care (assessments, counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, progress notes, groups, bio-psychosocial assessments).
• Maintain patient medical records professionally and timely.
• Provide direct care (individual counseling, group facilitation, lectures, orientation for new patients, discharge and aftercare planning).
• Link patients with aftercare services prior to discharge and assist family access outpatient services when appropriate.
• Attend unit and facility meetings and case conferences.
• Attend mandatory trainings and pursue continued education in the field.
• Contact insurance for authorization when needed.
• Use walkie-talkie as campus responder.
• Observe standard precautions at all times.
• Respect patient rights as defined, and perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $28.20/hr - $32.30/hr (Experience and Education dependent)
Status: Full Time/Part Time

Clinician Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position
• Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2,Confidentialityof Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations
• Participate in Treatment Team Meetings
• Maintain assigned caseload; Providing direct care to patients – including assessments of the new patients, individual counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, daily progress notes, daily groups, group note completion and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments
• Responsible for each assignedpatientsmedical records. All records are to be professional, complete and thorough with entries made in atimely manners
• Provide direct care to the patients. This care will include, but not limited to, individual counseling, group facilitation, lectures, orientation for newpatient’s. discharge and aftercare planning, and case management of patients assigned
• Responsible for linkingpatient’swith aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding the patient and his/her family access outpatient services when appropriate
• Attend all unit, facility meetings and case conferences as directed by the Clinical Director
• Attend mandatory trainings
• Responsible for continued education in the field of substance abuse and related courses
• Responsible for contacting the insurance company for authorization, as needed
• Utilize walkie-talkie as campus responder
• Utilize standards precautions at all times
• Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients as defined by the patient’s rights
• Other duties as assigned by the Program Director, the Clinical Director, and/or the Senior Clinician

• Bachelor's Degree in behavioral health or related field.
