High Point Opioid Treatment Program in Brockton, MA seeks a Master’s level clinician to provide clinical services including assessments, counseling, and aftercare planning. Master Level Clinician - Sign on bonus eligible!

Program/Location: High Point Opioid Treatment Program (OTP)/ Brockton, MA
Education/Licensure: Master's degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field: clinical psychology, education counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, or social work.
Pay Range: $33/hr - $39/hr (Experience and Education dependent)
Status: Full Time: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm; Tuesday-Friday, 7am-4:30pm and Saturday 6am-12pm

High Point has programs located throughout Southeast Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Master's Level Clinician Requirements

Must always present as courteous and professional;
Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position;
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks;
Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashion;
Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPAO Electronic Health Record (EHR);
Must have the ability to work with others in a cooperative and collaborative manner;
An understanding of the relationship between substance uses and mental health issues and/or self‑help programs;
Understand and maintain therapeutic boundaries;
Reinforce rules in a respectful manner;
Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder and HIPAA Regulations;
TB/Flu and Covid19 Assessment;
Annual Completion of the HPAO crisis de‑escalation program;
CPR Certification;
Successful completion of all trainings upon hire and annually as required.

Master's Level Clinician Duties and Responsibilities

Crisis intervention;
Maintain assigned caseload;
Providing clinical services to patients – including required assessments, individual counseling, discharge and aftercare planning, treatment plans and updates, weekly progress notes, daily groups facilitation, group note completion, and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments;
Making referrals when appropriate;
Responsible for each assigned patients' medical records, maintaining professional, complete and thorough entries made in a timely manner;
Responsible connecting patients with aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding them in family access services when appropriate;
Communicating/involving family in treatment at patients request;
Attend and participate in all unit, facility meetings, case conferences, Treatment Team meetings, and mandatory trainings, as directed by the Clinical Director;
Responsible for continued education in the field of substance use, mental health and related courses;
Always utilize standards precautions;
Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients as defined by the patient’s rights;
Completion of all required external clinical communications including court/DCF/DMH monthly compliance reports, evaluation summaries, other requested external documentation;
Ability to provide clinical services through in-person and telehealth modalities;
Maintain professional license in good standing, as applicable;
Responsible for contacting the insurance company for authorization, as needed;
Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director, Program Administrator, or Site Director.

Master's Level Clinician Qualifications

Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field: clinical psychology, education‑counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, social work.
Minimum of one year of supervised substance use and/or mental health disorder counseling experience preferred.
