Job Description:

Job Title : Business Analyst (QA & Testing)

Position Overview

Work across both business analysis and quality assurance to help deliver high-quality business applications. This role combines requirements gathering, stakeholder collaboration, documentation, and functional testing, making it ideal for professionals who enjoy bridging business and technical teams.

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

Perform process analysis and coordinate with business and technical stakeholders.

Facilitate JAD and requirements sessions.

Prepare test cases and execute functional testing activities.

Track and document defects through the testing lifecycle.

Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Produce clear business and functional documentation.

Learn new business processes and systems as needed.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of Business Analysis experience, including requirements gathering, documentation, process analysis, and stakeholder coordination.

2+ years of QA/testing experience, including test case preparation, functional testing, defect tracking, and UAT/SIT support.

Experience facilitating JAD/requirements sessions and working with business and technical teams.

Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a hybrid model from Troy, Michigan.

Ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

Accounting or Finance domain knowledge/background.

Experience supporting financial, payment, collection, or accounting-related applications.
