Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking an experienced IT professional to provide technical support and system administration for Windows and Linux environments, with cloud infrastructure responsibilities across Azure, AWS, or GCP. The role requires deep experience with COTS/SaaS apps, security, and architecture documentation.

You will collaborate with vendors and customers, support monitoring and networking, and drive infrastructure improvements across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience installing and configuring systems and components in Windows and Linux environments.
• 5–7 years of experience gathering requirements, researching options, analyzing issues, and recommending solutions.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016 and later.
• Experience with RHEL 7.0 and above.
• Experience with cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Visio.
• Knowledge of SSO technologies (SAML, OAuth, OpenID).
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, firewalls, monitoring, and remediation.
• 3–5 years of experience implementing and configuring applications in Azure Cloud infrastructure.

Job Description:

Position Overview

This role provides technical support and system administration for COTS applications supporting management and budget functions. The position combines Windows and Linux administration, cloud infrastructure, application support, monitoring, networking, security, and solution analysis.

The role will work closely with vendors, customers, and technical teams to understand requirements, evaluate options, recommend solutions, and implement application and infrastructure changes.

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for application changes and new efforts.
• Research and present options and analyze and recommend technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience installing and configuring systems and application components in Windows and Linux environments.
• 5–7 years of experience gathering/documenting requirements, researching options, analyzing requirements/issues, and recommending solutions.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016 and later.
• Experience with RHEL 7.0 and above.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management Studio, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and Visio.
• Knowledge of SSO technologies including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, architecture, firewalls, monitoring, and vulnerability remediation.
• Strong analytical skills and extensive experience with Windows/Linux operating systems and application/server support.
• 3–5 years of experience implementing and configuring applications in Azure Cloud infrastructure, including proficiency in Azure services, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
