Job summary

CivilGrid in San Francisco, CA is seeking a UX Researcher to lead qualitative and quantitative studies that uncover how civil design workflows operate and where products can improve.

You will partner with product managers and designers to run usability tests and synthesize findings into actionable direction, while building a repeatable research process and centralized repository. This role requires strong communication and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of UX research experience, preferably in a B2B or technical environment.
• Ability to run full studies independently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to synthesize messy qualitative data into clear insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualitative and quantitative research to understand civil design workflows and translate findings into actionable product direction.
• Partner with PMs and designers to run usability tests and establish a repeatable research practice and repository.
• Synthesize findings into clear, actionable guidance for cross‑functional teams.
