Job summary

Liberty Latin America seeks an experienced UC/VOIP Engineer to implement, support, and manage world-class Unified Communications for B2B customers. You will deploy Mitel, Microsoft Teams, and MyUC solutions, while providing regional Mitel support across the North Cluster and ensuring reliable voice services.

You will collaborate with Networking & Security to integrate voice systems, optimize QoS, and deliver training and documentation to customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Mitel certifications (MiVoice, MiCollab).
Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate or higher.
VOIP-related certifications (SIP School Certified Associate, Avaya).
Networking certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ (preferred).
Minimum 3 years of Unified Communications/VOIP experience.
Expertise in configuring Mitel PBX systems and regional support.
Strong knowledge of SIP trunking, voice protocols, and QoS.

Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, and maintain PBX systems such as Mitel and Microsoft Teams.
Install and support premise-based and cloud-based UC/VOIP solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve voice system issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with Networking & Security to ensure seamless integration and QoS.
Provide training and create technical documentation for customers.
Assist Sales teams with technical input on UC/VOIP solutions and site assessments.
Stay updated on Mitel advancements and industry best practices.
