Job summary
Meriplex Communications in Houston, TX seeks a Network Engineer to support UCaaS/VoIP, SD-WAN, firewall, switching, routing, wireless, Microsoft servers and VMware environments. You will analyze requirements, design and implement network/VoIP solutions, and lead projects with scheduling responsibility.
Key responsibilities include delivering professional IT support focused on customer service, managing SLA expectations, and guiding junior staff, with hands-on work across Velocloud SD-WAN,
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional IT experience.
- Hands-on experience with UCaaS/VoIP products and deployments.
- Hands-on experience with Routers, Switches, Wireless and Firewall technologies.
- Advanced administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server, Windows 10, VMware, Exchange Server.
- Certifications in Networking, Microsoft, and VMware are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional IT support to customers with a focus on customer service and renewal rates.
- Manage internal and external client expectations and SLA adherence.
- Lead projects and coordinate resource/work scheduling for initiatives.
- Provide guidance to junior staff and act as frontline technical resource for best-practice solutions.
- Support customer networks across Velocloud SD-WAN, Meraki, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Microsoft, VMware, and more.
