Job summary

Monks seeks a seasoned Media Strategy leader to guide client engagements and drive full-funnel campaigns across Social, Search, Programmatic, and partnerships. You’ll manage 1–3 direct reports, develop data-driven narratives, and partner with Activation, Investment and Data & Measurement teams to maximize media value.

This role requires 7+ years in media strategy with B2B focus, strong storytelling, and comfort with AI tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience focused on media strategy, planning and client service.
• B2B experience is required.
• Proficient in media strategy across digital direct, programmatic, social and search; fluent in brand and offline channels.
• Ability to craft data-driven narratives for client deliverables.
• Experience with syndicated planning and competitive insight tools (e.g., Comscore, GWI, Pathmatics, Nielsen).
• Comfortable adopting AI-enabled tools and helping the team work smarter.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; desire to grow as a leader and mentor.
• BA or equivalent with emphasis on marketing, advertising, or business.

Responsibilities

• Build client and platform relationships.
• Manage and grow account workstreams.
• Tell data-driven stories and extract insights for senior clients.
• Lead full-funnel media planning across Social, Search, Programmatic/Digital Investment, Holistic Video, OOH, and Direct Partnerships.
• Mentor direct reports and lead day-to-day client contact.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and integrated media plans informed by insights.
• Lead briefings, presentations, and executive deliverables.
