Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Matthews, NC to hire a Customer Order Processing & Logistics Specialist. This role supports B2B customers in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or supply chain environment.

You will manage the complete order lifecycle from entry to shipment, coordinating domestic and international shipments and ensuring accuracy and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service, order management, or logistics coordination experience.
• Experience supporting B2B customers within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or supply chain environments.
• Experience processing orders and coordinating shipments from entry through delivery.
• Strong understanding of order workflows, inventory considerations, and shipping processes.
• Experience managing high-volume communication via phone and email.
• Proficiency with ERP, order management software, or CRM platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from receipt through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Serve as primary contact for B2B customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders regarding order status and delivery schedules.
• Enter and validate orders within ERP and internal systems.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments through carriers and logistics partners.
• Arrange ground, air, import, and export shipments while ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Prepare shipping documentation and related paperwork.
• Monitor shipments and proactively communicate delays; resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Planning, and Warehouse teams.
• Maintain accurate customer, order, and shipment records.
• Support continuous improvement in order management and customer service operations.
