Hi-Line, Inc. seeks a Collections Specialist to manage a portfolio of B2B accounts from our Dallas/Fort Worth headquarters. You will analyze aging and payment history to determine collection strategies and work with internal teams to resolve issues.

This on-site role emphasizes strong relationship-building and professional communication with customers. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B collections, AR, and negotiation, with solid analytical skills and ERP system experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in business-to-business collections and accounts receivable.
• Ability to analyze financial data, assess risk and decide on actions.
• Experience negotiating payment commitments and handling sensitive conversations.
• Experience with ERP or AR systems; distribution experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage an assigned portfolio of B2B accounts and determine collection strategies.
• Analyze account information, set collection priorities, and adjust follow-up plans.
• Make and receive professional collection calls; communicate via email and letters.
• Negotiate payment commitments and arrangements within authority; seek management when needed.
• Investigate and resolve invoice, pricing, payment, and account disputes with internal teams.
• Evaluate accounts for collectability and recommend holds, terms, or escalation.
• Identify high-risk accounts and provide timely recommendations to leadership.
• Document communications, commitments, risk assessments, and decisions clearly in the system.
• Oversee invoice distribution and assist with Special Cash accounts; suggest process improvements.
