Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is hiring an Account Representative to manage existing commercial accounts within a defined territory. You will renew contracts, build long-term relationships, and proactively offer services to increase revenue.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills, with a focus on achieving revenue targets while using the CRM daily for account activity tracking.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a customer-facing sales role (B2B) preferred.
• Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies preferred.
• Waste industry experience a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee account management of existing commercial customers with focus on contract renewal and revenue.
• Retain and develop long-term relationships with customers through proactive service and renewals.
• Conduct personal visits, calls, and mailings to foster relationships with existing customers.
• Administer and preserve all price initiatives.
• Secure price increases on unprofitable accounts and/or per schedule.
• Develop knowledge of Rumpke's services, lines of business and pricing to upsell others.
• Respond to service cancellations promptly with follow-up.
• Use the company's CRM daily to schedule and document activities and build customer profiles.
• Maintain and manage the top 25 accounts.
• Coordinate with Outside Sales Reps for future prospects.
• Complete required Customer Service Agreements and paperwork timely.
