In the Role

The B2B Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities with tech forward SMB and Mid-Market clients.

You will work closely with prospective clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that align their goals with upskilling their workforce.

The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B Training or Education Sales, a passion for EdTech, and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Reporting to our US B2B Sales Director, this position will focus on acquiring new customers as we establish our B2B presence in the US Market.

We’re growing rapidly in LATAM and Europe and already have established product market fit.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify target companies, conduct cold outreach, and acquire new clients in SMB, Mid-Market, and Corporate Training sectors.
  2. Client Engagement: Build relationships with decision-makers to understand their needs and challenges.
  3. Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct product demonstrations to showcase value and address client pain points.
  4. Sales Negotiation & Closing: Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing, ensuring value for both sides.
  5. Pipeline Management: Maintain a sales pipeline, meet/exceed sales targets, and use CRM tools like Salesforce.
  6. Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, and customer success teams for a seamless client experience.
  7. Market Insight: Stay informed on industry trends and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  8. Customer Support: Collaborate with the customer success team post-sale for smooth implementation and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related fields.
  • 5-8 years in B2B sales with a proven track record, preferably in EdTech or SaaS.
  • Understanding of the education sector's challenges for SMB and Mid-Market organizations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for education and technology.
  • Ability to travel domestically quarterly as needed.
