Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to run ammonia refrigeration and wastewater systems with minimal supervision.

You will perform maintenance and repairs on boilers and refrigeration equipment and monitor the ammonia system in line with Process Safety Management. The role requires knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (2-2-3).

Qualificações

• Understanding of Ammonia Refrigeration systems.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Electrical experience required.
• Able to identify industry standard parts.
• Able to operate safely around moving machinery.
• Able to work in environments with blood, temperature and humidity changes.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Install and set up equipment as needed.
• Monitor and adjust refrigeration system and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections with required documentation.
• Provide pass-down to following shift Technician.
• Assist experienced Technicians in troubleshooting and repairs.
• Complete shift logs and paperwork.
• Assist with waste-water duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
