Job summary

Blount Fine Foods Corp. is seeking a refrigeration technician for the third shift to oversee and maintain our ammonia refrigeration system, ensuring safe operation and energy efficiency. You will monitor and repair compressors, condensers, and all cooling/freezing systems while supporting EPA compliance and the PSM program.

The role requires ammonia refrigeration experience and offers benefits including medical, 401k, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Ammonia refrigeration experience is required.
• Refrigerated manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide third shift refrigeration service, including monitoring, troubleshooting and repair of the ammonia system.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs to improve performance and reduce refrigerant loss.
• Respond to emergency calls during regular and off hours.
• Communicate system operation and maintenance information to the department head and maintenance team.
