Tyson Foods is seeking a Refrigeration Lead to support the supervisor and ensure timely, correct execution of daily tasks. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair ammonia systems and related equipment while upholding safety and Tyson policies.

The role involves overseeing hourly checks of ammonia systems, boilers, HVAC components, and reporting any leaks. You will perform daily PMs, inspect equipment, and work both indoors and outdoors under varying conditions.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year of industrial refrigeration experience.
• Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be a member of the HAZMAT team and pass annual physicals.
• Willing to work indoors and outdoors, exposed to weather and noise.

Mansioni

• Assist supervisor by communicating instructions to the team and ensuring timely, correct tasks.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair ammonia systems and related equipment.
• Oversee hourly checks of ammonia systems including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and piping.
• Perform daily PMs and boiler/condenser tests; monitor safety standards.
• Visually inspect equipment on roof and within the plant; know plant layout.
• Report ammonia leaks and participate in HAZMAT activities.
