Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician for Chick N Quick in Rogers, AR. The 1st shift role focuses on operating and maintaining ammonia refrigeration systems within safety standards and Tyson policies.

You will document readings, perform inspections, and support preventive maintenance, including forklift systems, in a dynamic plant environment. Candidates need at least 1 year of refrigeration maintenance experience, be able to work 12-hour shifts in varying temperatures,

Qualifications

• 1 year refrigeration maintenance experience.
• Must be able to wear APR PPE (Air Purifying Respirator).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems (compressors, condensers, evaporators, piping) and related equipment.
• Document readings and data for all ammonia systems.
• Perform daily inspections and mandatory checks multiple times a day.
• Report ammonia issues to supervisor and follow safety protocols.
• Support forklift preventative maintenance and other assigned tasks.
