Job summary

Grote Automotive - Fort Wayne is hiring an Automotive Technician / Recon Technician to perform multi-make inspections and recon repairs in a busy service center in Fort Wayne. The role focuses on customer-pay and recon work, not brand-limited repairs, with OEM-backed support and a broad vehicle mix.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, completing approved repairs, and keeping work moving across makes and models. ASE certifications are helpful but not required; own tools are required.

Qualifications

• Automotive repair experience required or preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to inspect vehicles and diagnose issues across multiple makes/models.
• Strong inspection habits and attention to detail.
• General repair knowledge and the ability to complete approved recon work.

Grote Mitsubishi / Grote Automotive Service Center is hiring a productive B- and C-level Automotive Technician / Recon Technician in Fort Wayne. This role is built around multi-make recon and customer-pay work, not Mitsubishi-only repairs. If you can inspect vehicles, complete approved repairs, and keep work moving, this may be a strong fit.
