Job summary

Auffenberg Dealer Group of Illinois is seeking a RECON Service Technician to join our team. You will receive repair orders, perform work to dealership and factory standards, and road-test vehicles to confirm repairs.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications ideal.
• Strong automotive background required.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from the dispatcher and take them to the stall area.
• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy by dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain the needed parts.
• Advise the service advisor if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Document work performed.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs address the customer complaint.
• Quality check work performed.
• Attend training classes.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and safe.
• Follow safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.

• $30+ hourly wage to qualified applicants
