Responsibilities include mechanical repairs, braking, suspension, tires, fluids, and inspections. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience, a hands-on background, and a commitment to efficient, safe service.

Qualifications

About the Shop

A high-volume Raleigh automotive shop is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician for a production-focused mechanical repair role. This flat-rate opportunity offers $75,000–$105,000+ earning potential with a guaranteed minimum. The shop handles approximately 70–94 vehicles each week and focuses on efficient mechanical repairs and parts replacement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and parts replacement
• Service braking systems
• Complete suspension repairs and wheel alignments
• Perform tire and wheel services
• Complete fluid services and general maintenance
• Inspect and replace hoses and belts
• Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional automotive technician experience
• Strong hands‑on mechanical repair background
• Ability to perform production-focused work efficiently and consistently
• ASE A1–A8 certifications are a plus
• North Carolina State Inspection License is a plus
• $75,000–$105,000+ earning potential
• Flat-rate compensation
• Guaranteed minimum of approximately $35/hour
