Job summary

Aac-Inc in Washington, DC seeks an on-site IT Systems Administrator to provide Tier 3 support for Microsoft technologies, including Azure cloud services. The role focuses on building, implementing, and troubleshooting information systems across the Microsoft stack.

Responsibilities include analyzing logs, applying patches, configuring hardware and software, managing user accounts, and developing PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3–5 years in IT.
• 3–5 years end-user systems and systems administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including AD, Entra ID, Intune, SCCM, Windows, M365 and Teams.
• Experience automating tasks with PowerShell; Windows security hardening per CIS Benchmarks.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain agency public trust.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system logs to identify issues in computer systems.
• Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Install and configure hardware, storage, and software.
• Add, remove, or update user accounts including resetting passwords.
• Answer technical queries and assist end users.
• Perform system performance tuning and automation scripting.
• Install and create virtual machines and cloud instances (Azure).
• Ensure infrastructure availability and troubleshoot reported problems.
• Support IT projects and security baselines compliance.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automate administrative tasks.
