Job summary

Jam-Industries-4 is seeking a mid-level Systems Administrator in Montréal to administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure environments. You will provide L2/L3 escalation within the Infrastructure and Security team and work under guidance to ensure secure, reliable operations across North America.

The ideal candidate has strong Azure skills, solid networking knowledge, and experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands‑on Systems Administrator experience in Windows/Azure.
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Solid networking fundamentals and DNS/DHCP knowledge.
• Operational Azure experience: VMs, VNets/NSGs, Backup, Monitor, Entra Connect.
• MS 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
• Experience supporting enterprise environments (1000–5000 users preferred).
• PowerShell scripting for administration tasks.
• Ability to provide L2/L3 support independently.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Manage Azure/Entra resources, VM provisioning, storage, and monitoring.
• Handle Entra Connect hybrid identity and identity-related issues.
• Provide L2/L3 escalation for incidents and requests.
• Monitor system health, apply patches, and ensure backups.
• Document configurations and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with other SysAdmins, network, security, and database teams.
• Support integrations and peripheral devices in the infrastructure.
