Job summary

Troon’s corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring a mid-level Systems Engineer focused on Microsoft Azure infrastructure to support and maintain our cloud-first environments.

You will work hands-on across Azure networking, identity, compute, and monitoring, coordinating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

A 3–6 year background in systems engineering and Azure cloud services is required, with Azure Administrator skills and PowerShell experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in systems engineering or cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
• Experience with Azure VNets and cloud networking concepts.
• Proficiency in Windows OS and Entra ID (Azure AD) management.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, support, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including VMs and storage.
• Administer Azure VNets, subnets, NSGs, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Manage identity and access using Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, and MFA.
• Monitor performance, availability, security, and cost with Azure tools.
• Participate in cloud deployments, upgrades, and platform improvements.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and identity issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver secure cloud solutions.
