EY is seeking an Assistant Director-level engineering leader to own the delivery of cloud platform and infrastructure across Azure Government programs. You will guide technical direction, enable delivery teams, and balance delivery, security, and long‑term platform health in government environments.

You’ll lead architecture reviews, manage risk and dependencies, grow engineering talent, and advance DevSecOps practices with IaC, containers, and secure networking.

Formación

• 7+ years in engineering with cloud IaaS, PaaS, and/or SaaS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Azure certifications AZ-104 and AZ-305.
• Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD with Bicep, Azure DevOps, ARM templates, or Ansible.
• Containers and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Helm.
• Networking fundamentals with VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, and load balancing.
• Cloud security principles including NIST, FedRAMP.
• Identity and access management with Entra ID, Azure RBAC, PIM.
• Windows and Linux admin, scripting with PowerShell.
• Experience with government security frameworks and Agile delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

• Guide technical direction for Azure Government platforms; ensure security and scalability.
• Establish and evolve DevSecOps practices and automation.
• Make trade-off decisions balancing speed, quality, risk, and platform health.
• Lead architecture and design reviews; ensure alignment with standards.
• Oversee risk, dependencies, and issue management across delivery efforts.
• Influence stakeholders to align priorities and drive execution.
• Develop and grow engineering talent through coaching and delegation.
• Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.
