Job summary

Walbridge is seeking an IT Systems Analyst II - Network Administrator to lead the design, deployment, and support of our enterprise network across on-premises and Azure environments from our Detroit headquarters.

The role requires hands-on expertise in routing, switching, DNS/DHCP, firewall/VPN, and automation. You will own incidents, drive RCA, and collaborate with security and IT teams to ensure uptime and secure access.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on network administration in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in routing, switching, VLANs, and subnetting.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure networking and hybrid connectivity.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layered network issues under pressure.
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems with high availability.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting tools (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Bicep).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Azure networking solutions and hybrid connectivity.
• Respond to and resolve production incidents, including on-call participation.
• Implement security hardening, firewall management, network segmentation, and secure remote access.
• Maintain core services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and ensure reliability of identity-driven connectivity.
• Develop runbooks, diagrams, and documentation; pursue continuous improvement.
