Job summary

MedVanta, the nation’s largest physician-owned MSO, is seeking an IT Network Engineer to design, support, and maintain our network and cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure environments.

You will act as Level 2 escalation for IT Help Desk, handle on-site field work at offices and clinics, and help drive security and reliability across hybrid environments while mentoring Help Desk staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4–7 years of experience in Azure / AWS cloud services, IT infrastructure, networking, or systems engineering.
• Cloud Services certification required.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Network Engineer Associate, Security, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred but not required.
• Prior experience providing Level 2 or Tier 2 technical support.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
• Design, implement, and manage network and cloud infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security; remediate issues.
• Support and manage hybrid environments.
• Install, configure, test, and replace network equipment; coordinate with vendors.
