Job summary

Gemaire Distributors is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage our hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure across multiple branches. You will administer Azure and 365 services, Cisco Meraki networks, and Windows Server environments, while coordinating multi-site deployments and security governance.

The role emphasizes incident response, documentation, and project ownership, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in systems or infrastructure administration, cloud operations, or related role.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki switching, wireless, and security appliances.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience supporting multi-site or branch environments and coordinating infrastructure deployments.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, ISPs, and technical service providers.
• Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting across systems, networking, cloud, and end-user tech.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to travel to branch or project locations when needed.
• Technical skills include Azure administration, governance, monitoring, networking, and access management; Microsoft 365 suite; Windows server stack; Cisco Meraki infrastructure; endpoint management; PowerShell scripting; and low-voltage tech deployments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure, services, configurations, monitoring, access controls, and operational standards.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Operate Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy; manage identity and access administration.
• Coordinate multi-site/branch deployments, infrastructure refreshes, and vendor coordination.
• Lead security, change management, documentation, and incident response with appropriate governance.
• Troubleshoot Tier 2/3 issues, perform root-cause analysis, and create runbooks and knowledge articles.
• Automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell and other approved tools.
• Support network and branch connectivity including VPN, WAN, and firewall services.
• Provide guidance, hand-off, and knowledge transfer to service desk and field teams.
