Job summary

Wipfli LLP is seeking an IT Solution Consultant II based in the Irvine, CA area. The position offers flexibility to work 100% in person or in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel to client locations in California.

You will develop and implement both consultative and technical solutions to improve clients’ business processes and IT environments, interfacing regularly with clients and internal teams to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of technology solutions experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.
• Experience working with clients on-site; up to 15% travel to client locations within the U.S.
• Possesses or works towards obtaining appropriate advanced certifications.
• Demonstrated blend of technical expertise and consultative ability to assess needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple projects under pressure while quickly responding to unexpected events or changing priorities.
• Training, support or consulting advisory experience is preferred; experience serving clients in healthcare or financial institutions industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a level-three escalation resource for complex service desk issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Assess client environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure Active Directory/Active Directory, SharePoint, endpoints, servers and cloud apps.
• Document and maintain client technology roadmaps, security reviews, and improvement plans with clear business impact.
• Lead recurring client maintenance and security review discussions and analyze reports on risks and gaps.
• Identify risks and opportunities, present actionable recommendations, and develop solutions.
• Scope, price, and monitor project work plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Proactively communicate project status, risks, and solutions to the client and project leader.
• Participate in R&D and foundational efforts to deliver innovative solutions.
