Job summary

American Nurses Association is seeking a Systems Engineer to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of its Microsoft 365, Azure and on‑prem infrastructure. You will manage identity, access provisioning, endpoint security, patching, and application deployments while supporting both cloud and physical environments.

The role emphasizes automation, problem solving, and collaboration with stakeholders and vendor partners to sustain a secure IT ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 3 years IT experience or 7 years direct IT operations experience.
• 3+ years with Microsoft 365, Entra, Active Directory, Intune.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Azure and on prem systems, servers, and services.
• Deploy updates, patches, and OS upgrades across server and endpoint fleets.
• Administer Entra ID, AD, RBAC, SSO, MFA, access packages and PIM.
• Manage integrations using Aquera and Entra Connect.
• Respond to ITSM tickets with expert troubleshooting and provide first-line support.
