Job summary

American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking a Systems Engineer in Silver Spring, MD to maintain Azure and on-prem systems, manage identity access, and support security engineering. You will administer Entra ID, AD, RBAC, SSO, MFA, and Intune while collaborating with stakeholders and vendor partners.

The role emphasizes hybrid work arrangements with a focus on reliability, observability, and operational excellence in a healthcare nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 3 years IT experience or 7 years direct IT operations experience
• 3+ years with Microsoft 365, Entra, Active Directory, Intune
• 3+ years supporting Windows, macOS, endpoint management, patching
• 3+ years supporting Windows Server, VDI environments
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki networking and security appliances
• Experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure
• Experience writing PowerShell scripts

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Engineering & Operations: Maintain Azure and on prem systems, servers, and services.
• Identity & Access Management: Administer Entra ID, AD, RBAC, SSO, MFA, access packages and PIM.
• IT Service Delivery: Respond to ITSM tickets with expert troubleshooting.
• Security Engineering: Monitor security appliances, WAFs, and endpoint protection.
