Job summary

ComResource is seeking a System Administrator to join our MSP team in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on managing Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, supporting on-premises infrastructure, and maintaining strong security practices.

You will work closely with clients to ensure reliable, scalable IT solutions and timely responses to incidents. The ideal candidate has 2+ years with Azure/M365, 2–4 years supporting Windows/ networking, and familiarity with MSP operations, Intune, and hybrid AD

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience with Azure and Microsoft 365.
• 2-4 years' experience managing local infrastructure (Windows Servers, endpoints).
• Proficiency with networking concepts and devices (firewalls, switches, wireless APs).
• Strong Active Directory, DHCP, DNS administration.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and 365 administration.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust concepts including MFA, conditional access, MDM, and MAM.
• Experience with AD hybrid configurations and Intune management.
• Previous MSP experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with remote monitoring and ticketing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Azure-based environments for performance, security, and scalability.
• Administer Microsoft 365 apps (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) for seamless collaboration.
• Oversee local infrastructure (Windows Servers, endpoints, related components).
• Configure and manage networking equipment (firewalls, switches, APs) for reliable connectivity.
• Maintain AD services (DHCP, DNS) for user authentication and access.
• Use Azure AD to manage identities and access rights with proper security.
• Handle MS 365 management tasks, troubleshoot and optimize configurations.
• Implement security concepts like MFA, conditional access, MDM, and MAM.
• Manage AD hybrid configurations, integrating on-prem with cloud services.
• Use Group Policy and/or Intune for device policies and configurations.
• Provide user support via ticketing systems and remote monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver IT solutions.
