Job summary

Baptist Health Digital Solutions Center in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Azure Hybrid Cloud Engineer for Platform Engineering. You will design, implement, and optimize enterprise healthcare information systems and cloud infrastructure to support patient care and operations.

Responsibilities include integrating systems, automating infrastructure with IaC tools, and maintaining security, compliance, and high availability across Azure environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Strong experience with enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies and Windows Server engineering.
• Hands on IaC with Terraform/Ansible/Puppet and PowerShell scripting.
• Azure cloud engineering experience including production environments preferred.
• Identity management with AD/Entra ID across on‑prem and cloud.

Responsibilities

• Provide design, implementation, integration, optimization and support of enterprise healthcare IT systems and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and support upgrades, while ensuring security, compliance and high availability.
• Automate infrastructure and integrations using APIs and IaC tools; collaborate with IS and clinical teams.
• Lead small workstreams or projects and mentor colleagues as needed.
