Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting in Houston is seeking a Systems Administrator/Desktop Support professional to join a small agile IT team. You will manage Azure environments, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and cloud/endpoint remediation while coordinating with an outside MSP for network infrastructure.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, security, and reliable endpoint and device provisioning, with a hybrid schedule: three days on-site, two remote.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Desktop Support or System Admin experience.
• Healthcare background preferred but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and virtualization technologies.
• Experience configuring TCP/IP, VPN, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience with cloud PBX and VoIP.
• XML/HL7 familiarity is a plus.

• Azure Environment Management and Entra ID administration.
• Microsoft 365 administration and endpoint management.
• Hardware provisioning and asset management.
• Monitor and maintain network appliances and virtual appliances.
• Cloud, network and endpoint remediation as directed.
• HIPAA compliance training participation and IT audits.
