Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design and manage modern Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure in a healthcare setting. You will enhance automation, cost governance, and operational maturity across on‑prem and cloud environments.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and at least three years of relevant systems or cloud engineering experience, with strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) years of software engineering or systems/infrastructure experience.
• Knowledgeable in Azure, hybrid cloud, automation, IaC, scripting, monitoring, and operational maturity.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Azure platform including tenant architecture, policy, cost governance, and resource optimization.
• Support hybrid cloud infrastructure across Azure compute, networking, storage, and connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Advance automation and operational maturity through Infrastructure as Code, scripting, monitoring, and repeatable processes.
• Provide technical assistance and communicate status per department standards.
• Research new developments in hardware and software and assist operators with problems.
