Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience automating infrastructure with IaC in cloud and on‑prem.
• Experience in Azure and virtualized or hyperconverged on‑prem environments.
• Proven ability to solve cross‑layer problems across multiple tech stacks.
• Experience in cross‑functional/squad delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Azure and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using IaC.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional squads to translate requirements into designs.
• Co‑design systems with developers, promoting immutable infrastructure.
• Advance hybrid cloud strategy for private data center vs Azure.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud, storage, networking, identity.
• Document standards and runbooks to reduce tribal knowledge.
• Embed SRE practices for reliability and proactive detection.
• Improve internal automation and reduce external dependencies.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and incident response.
• Stay current with evolving cloud and automation practices.
