Job summary

IAT Insurance Group seeks a Systems Administrator Engineer – Cloud & Automation to optimize and automate infrastructure across Azure and Microsoft 365. The role emphasizes reducing manual tasks through automation and IaC, improving reliability and efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring extensive cloud/automation experience, strong PowerShell skills, and proven Graph API integrations, with a hybrid work schedule from select offices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud technologies, automation, and infrastructure engineering.
• IaC experience with Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform for Azure deployment and governance.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Graph API for automation across Entra, M365, Teams, and Exchange.
• Strong PowerShell scripting expertise with modules, advanced functions, and error handling.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Azure Automation, Logic Apps, or Azure Functions.
• Deep knowledge of Azure and Entra (Azure AD) including VMs, networking, storage, security, monitoring, and MFA.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation solutions across infrastructure, identity, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code to provision and govern cloud and on‑prem resources.
• Build automation and integrations using the Microsoft Graph API for identity, licensing, Teams, Exchange, and SharePoint.
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts and runbooks for provisioning, reporting, and remediation.
• Design, implement, and operate Azure cloud solutions (compute, networking, storage, monitoring).
• Ensure security, compliance, disaster recovery readiness, and performance.
• Collaborate with Security, App Support, Data, PMO to deliver scalable solutions.
