EY’s Government and Infrastructure Technology Organization seeks a senior engineer to own delivery of secure cloud platform and infrastructure capabilities across multiple programs. You will guide technical direction for Azure Government, establish DevSecOps practices, and drive architecture decisions.

You’ll manage risks, dependencies, and cross‑team collaboration while growing capabilities and ensuring long‑term platform health.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in engineering roles with private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and/or SaaS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Strong hands‑on experience in Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD – Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible, Azure DevOps
• Containers and orchestration – Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Azure Container Apps, Helm
• Networking fundamentals – design and troubleshoot VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, load‑balancing
• Cloud security principles – NIST, FedRAMP, least privilege, identity security
• Identity and access – Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
• Windows and Linux administration – patching, tuning, security baselines
• Scripting / PowerShell – automation; Python optional
• Experience with government security frameworks (NIST controls)
• Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe)
• Strong written and verbal communication across distributed teams

Responsabilités

• Own the delivery of cloud platform and infrastructure capabilities across multiple initiatives
• Set and guide technical direction for Azure Government platforms
• Establish and evolve DevSecOps practices and automation to improve delivery
• Make informed technical trade offs balancing speed, quality, risk
• Lead architecture and design reviews for standards and outcomes
• Oversee risk, dependencies and issues across delivery efforts
• Influence stakeholders across product, engineering, and leadership
• Develop and grow engineering talent through coaching and delegation
• Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement
