Job summary

EY's Government and Infrastructure Technology Organization seeks an Assistant Director to deliver cloud platform and infrastructure capabilities for large government programs in Azure Government. You will translate mission needs into secure, scalable solutions and guide delivery across multiple workstreams.

You will balance delivery speed, security, and risk, mentor teams, and influence stakeholders to drive execution in a secure, compliant environment.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud platform and infrastructure delivery across initiatives, matching business, mission, and security needs
• Guide technical direction for Azure Government platforms to be scalable, secure, and sustainable
• Establish DevSecOps practices and automation to improve delivery quality and reliability
• Make trade-off decisions balancing speed, quality, security, risk, and long-term health
• Lead architecture and design reviews to ensure standards alignment and desired outcomes
• Manage risk, dependencies, and issues across deliveries, escalating proactively
• Influence product, engineering, and leadership to align priorities without direct authority
