Torch Technologies, Inc. seeks a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect to drive enterprise cloud architecture for Azure Government environments (IL5/IL6).

The role focuses on creating robust landing zones, IaC standards, and secure, scalable cloud foundations in collaboration with Government Cloud Engineering Leads and DoD stakeholders. Hybrid work option available with locations in Huntsville, AL or Suffolk, VA, and a path to mature JWCC-aligned cloud solutions for JLVC training software migration

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field, plus 8+ years of progressive engineering experience (or Master’s degree with 6+ years).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure (minimum 2+ years in Azure Government / DoD IL4-IL6).
• Proven proficiency authoring production-grade IaC using Terraform, Azure Bicep, or ARM templates.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and oversee enterprise cloud infrastructure within Azure Government (IL5) and Azure Government Secret (IL6) aligned with JWCC standards and DoD Cloud Computing SRG.
• Partner with Government Cloud Engineering Leads and Division System Architects to establish robust cloud foundation services, landing zones, and transit hub-spoke models.
• Direct the formulation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards across the technical team utilizing Terraform, Azure Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Establish architectural blueprints for migrating on-premises Joint Live, Virtual, and Constructive (JLVC) training software into containerized (AKS) and virtualized cloud services.
• Enforce Zero Trust architectural principles across all Azure networking, storage, identity, and compute boundaries.
