Job summary

HyerTek seeks a mid-level Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer to build, secure, and support Azure environments for DoW customers, including IL5 and classified workloads. You will implement approved cloud architectures, automate with IaC, and work with government stakeholders in a hybrid setting in the DC area.

You will deploy and maintain secure Azure landing zones, subscriptions, and VNets, apply security baselines, and collaborate with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and developers to meet RMF and DISA

Qualifications

• Hands-on Microsoft Azure deployment and support in regulated environments.
• Experience with Azure Government or government cloud environments.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and DISA STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and troubleshoot secure Azure environments for government workloads.
• Deploy infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
• Configure VNets, subnets, DNS, firewalls, and private endpoints.
• Manage identity with Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Key Vault, and policies.
• Support monitoring, logging, and incident response in Azure.
