Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect to lead migration of JLVC training/federations into Microsoft Azure under JWCC. The role supports hybrid work options in Suffolk, VA or Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities include architecting Azure Gov infrastructure, directing IaC (Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM), and enforcing Zero Trust across networks and compute. Federal-qualified candidates with active Secret clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience; 6+ years with Master’s.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee enterprise cloud infrastructure in Azure Government (IL5) and Azure Government Secret (IL6).
• Direct IaC standards using Terraform, Azure Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Develop architectural blueprints for migrating JLVC training software to containerized/ cloud services.
• Enforce Zero Trust across Azure networking, storage, identity and compute.
