Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Vulnerability Management & Security Analyst to secure Azure Government workloads and support J7 JTSD cloud migrations. You will assess, report, and remediate security gaps under DoD guidance, coordinating with engineers to close vulnerabilities within eMASS POA&M records.

The role requires DoD-level credentials, 8570/8140 IAT II, and strong scripting capabilities. Hybrid work in Huntsville, AL is available with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with active DoD security clearance.
• 2+ years hands-on DoD cybersecurity analysis and vulnerability scanning.
• Experience with ACAS/Tenable Nessus for network, host, and credentialed scanning.
• Experience applying DISA STIGs to Linux and Windows.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, or GSEC)

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability assessments for Azure Government workloads.
• Evaluate compliance against STIGs/SRGs using SCAP tools and STIG Viewer.
• Provide remediation guidance and track POA&Ms in eMASS.
• Monitor cloud security hygiene with Defender for Cloud and DISA dashboards.
