Job summary

The Iowa Primary Care Association in Des Moines, IA seeks a System Administrator to oversee the Microsoft Fabric and Azure infrastructure that powers BI applications including Power BI and Power Automate. The role ensures secure, reliable operation and serves as the liaison between the Technology Team and business operations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years' M365 administration, Azure experience, and familiarity with SQL Server/Fabric.

Qualifications

Associate degree in computer-related subject or equivalent work experience/Microsoft certifications.
Minimum 5 years of experience administering M365 applications.
Minimum 2 years administering Microsoft Azure; SQL Server and Fabric experience highly desired.
Experience with Power Automate, Power BI and Power Flows or ability to obtain certification within 6 months.
Experience with help desk software, phone support, and customer service.
Proficiency with Microsoft M365 administration and support.
Demonstrated work experience supporting/maintaining office technology systems.
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

Provides knowledge of application features and functionality.
Analyzes expectations and requirements; communicates assessments to leadership and operations.
Collaborates across teams to ensure shared understanding and solutions.
Manages data security and access for Microsoft Fabric environment.
Creates Power Flows using Power Automate as needed.
Integrates Microsoft Azure servers with Fabric environment.
Acts as Tier II/III contact for assigned applications.
Monitors system performance and resolves complex problems.
Reviews changes, interfaces, data conversion and enhancements.
Leads IT projects with vendors and partners as needed.
Delivers exceptional customer service to users of identified applications.
Supports staff via phone, in-person and virtual help.
