Job summary

Flyover LLC is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to own the data platform end to end, from POS ingestion through Microsoft Fabric to the Power BI dashboards used daily. You will design and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines, manage the Fabric lakehouse/warehouse, and own the on‑prem SQL Server footprint supporting in‑house applications.

Collaborating with Revenue Manager and Finance, you’ll build star schemas, write DAX measures, and enable self‑service BI while working a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or related field.
• 5+ years in data/BI engineering or analytics platform.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and related Microsoft data tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines ingesting data from POS systems.
• Architect Fabric lakehouse/warehouse; manage security, cost, and monitoring.
• Own the database estate end to end, including on‑prem SQL Server backups and tuning.
• Design star schemas and semantic models; write DAX measures for key metrics.
• Build Power BI dashboards with business teams; administer the Power BI service.
• Collaborate with Revenue Manager and Finance to translate reporting needs.
• Establish data standards; share knowledge; evaluate Fabric capabilities.
• Handle on‑site Level 1 IT tasks up to ~4 hours weekly; remote support by team.
