Franklin Fitch in New York City is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design cloud-first environments and act as the go-to expert for high-level systems engineering and solution architecture.

The role focuses on Azure, M365, Intune/Endpoint Manager, network design, server hardening, and mentoring junior engineers while handling critical escalations and delivering clear, repeatable documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in MSP or high-volume IT support.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, AD, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Azure infrastructure and virtual networks (AZ-104 or higher preferred).
• VMware/Hyper-V/AVD virtualization experience.
• Strong documentation habits and experience with ConnectWise.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical assessments and design secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Design and deploy Azure, M365, and Intune/Endpoint Manager solutions.
• Redesign and optimize networks for performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex escalations (L3+).
• Create repeatable documentation for architectures and deployments.
• Mentor junior engineers.
