Job summary

Encoura seeks an Azure DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to own and operate cloud‑native platforms supporting Reach and Raise. This hands‑on role provides full system ownership in a skilled DevOps team, focusing on reliability, automation, and scalable architectures in Azure (and some AWS).

You will design CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy; automate infrastructure with Terraform/ARM; lead cloud migrations, optimize costs, and serve as on‑call responder

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent is required; a related Master’s degree is a plus.
4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering with strong hands‑on Azure production experience.
Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy).
Experience leading cloud migrations, infrastructure automation, and incident response at scale.
Knowledge of Azure services including Web Apps, Functions, SQL, Storage, Key Vaults, and Entra ID.
Strong security, system hardening, and compliance practices; able to design complex technical solutions with minimal direction.
Excellent collaboration with engineering, product, and security teams; strong scripting and automation mindset.
Infrastructure as Code advocate using Terraform or ARM/Bicep; experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban development.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain reliability, performance, and availability of large‑scale production systems; monitor dashboards, review alerts, and resolve incidents.
Serve as primary on‑call responder for customer‑impacting issues; triage, coordinate resolutions, and lead post‑mortems.
Design, build, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Octopus Deploy.
Automate Azure infrastructure and services (Web Apps, Functions, SQL, Storage, Key Vaults, Entra ID) with IaC tooling.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams on deployments, migrations, and compliance initiatives.
Drive cloud cost optimization, scalability, and auto‑scaling across hosted environments.
Implement and modernize incident management tooling and enforce security best practices and hardening standards.
