Job summary

Stefanini LATAM seeks a Senior Azure DevOps / Platform Engineer to lead a critical Azure platform transformation. This remote role spans LATAM and interacts with US‑based stakeholders, focusing on IaC and progressive migration from legacy resources.

You will design target architectures, build reusable Terraform modules, and mentor junior engineers while delivering code‑managed governance and robust deployment pipelines through GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years focused on Microsoft Azure.
• Deep expertise in Azure landing zones, management groups, subscription design, Azure Policy, and RBAC governance.
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform: authoring reusable modules, state management, versioning, and multi-subscription deployments.
• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for infrastructure and application delivery.
• Hands‑on experience rebuilding or migrating a legacy Azure estate to an IaC‑managed platform.

Responsibilities

• Assess the existing Azure estate, identify waste, and document dependencies on shared services.
• Design a pragmatic target architecture, subscription strategy, and high-level effort estimates.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules for landing zones, networking, and identity foundations. Deploy and validate initial platform components, establishing a governed, code‑managed environment. Lead incremental migration of applications and workloads from the legacy estate to the new platform.
• Decommission legacy resources and ensure thorough knowledge transfer to the internal team. Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies as an active engineering contributor.
• Serve as the technical reference for junior and mid‑level engineers, providing mentorship and guidance. Produce clear documentation of architecture decisions, estimates, and migration procedures.

We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps / Platform Engineer to lead a critical Azure platform transformation . Working remotely from anywhere in LATAM , you will rebuild the client’s Azure environment using Infrastructure as Code , migrate workloads incrementally , and retire the legacy estate . This is a hands‑on, lead‑by‑doing role that requires close collaboration with the Cloud Architecture team and direct interaction with US‑based stakeholders .
