Job summary

PLACE is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to architect and govern our enterprise Azure cloud platform, drive CI/CD, and codify infrastructure as code to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable services across engineering teams.

You’ll design zero-downtime deployment strategies, implement security controls (Key Vault, RBAC), optimize costs (FinOps), mentor engineers, and partner with product and platform leadership to align infrastructure delivery with business priorities in a hybrid role

Qualifications

• Experience deep in Azure with App Services, AKS, Key Vault, API Management.
• Design and implement IaC and cloud architecture standards.
• Implement secure, cost-aware, scalable cloud solutions at scale.
• Mentor engineers and lead design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise Azure infrastructure using IaC.
• Develop reusable modules and optimize costs without compromising reliability.
• Design, implement, and govern Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with blue-green, canary, and zero-downtime deployment.
• Maintain load-testing environments and validate auto-scaling configurations.
• Implement security controls including Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, RBAC.
• Configure Azure WAF and APIM with throttling, governance, and rate limits.
• Implement observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics; lead root-cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical design reviews.
• Partner with product and engineering using Agile/Scrum.
